Graeme Hopson - Managing Director & Choir Leader

Graeme Hopson - founder of VivaVoices

VivaVoices was founded in 2009 by singer and pianist Graeme Hopson MMus BMus (Hons), drawing from years of experience working with singers of all ages and abilities. He studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, gaining a Master’s degree in 2004, followed by further study at Queens’ College, Cambridge. Graeme runs all the weekly groups and workshops and believes that everyone has musical ability and can enjoy singing.

Besides running VivaVoices, Graeme has worked for Stagecoach, a music theatre school for children, was musical director for Suffolk Young Peoples' Theatre in their production of ‘My Fair Lady’, and was a resident artist for Vital Communities, teaching singing to children and adults from diverse community groups in Cambridgeshire. Graeme is also in demand as a teacher and a performer, regularly appearing in recitals, weddings and functions throughout the region.
